Problem:
Our learning team relied on subjective, self-reported effort scores that were inconsistent and focused on time spent rather than measurable output. This limited visibility into capacity, workload distribution, roadblocks, and resource needs.

Solution:
I used Microsoft Copilot to design an output-based capacity and reporting framework. Within Copilot, I chose GPT-5.6 over GPT-5.5 because the project required deeper reasoning, stronger contextual continuity, and more advanced analysis. GPT-5.6 helped reduce context drift across iterations and move beyond the reasoning ceiling of lighter analysis when evaluating work complexity, capacity, delivery patterns, and strategic value.

Using strategic prompt engineering, I created standardized T-shirt sizing, complexity modifiers, strategic weighting, governance rules, and regression-informed analysis.

 

Results:

Improved reporting consistency, resource planning, and visibility into measurable output.

Course Development Framework

​​Problem:

As our learning organization scaled, I identified a critical gap: there was no documented, end-to-end process for how learning projects moved from intake to measurement. This created inconsistencies in delivery, made onboarding difficult, and limited the team's ability to resource effectively.

Solution:

To address this challenge, I analyzed existing workflows, stakeholder interactions, decision points, and team responsibilities to develop a comprehensive Course Development Framework. The framework standardized the learning development lifecycle, defining key phases, output, governance checkpoints, and ownership from needs analysis through deployment and impact measurement. 

Results:

The framework was used for team onboarding and process training, improving consistency, efficiency, and resourcing. This project is an example of how I analyze systems, identify process gaps, and translate ambiguity into clear, repeatable operating models.
